A bit about me...
Hi, I’m Chantal.

My love for both horses and young people led me to becoming a HEART Equine Assisted Therapeutic Coach. I’ve been around animals for most of my life and have my own pack of dogs and 2 horses. The mix of animals and teenagers creates something special.

I love working therapeutically in nature; it provides a safe, non judgemental space for clients to explore, process and offload trauma and ongoing challenges. The horses and the environment create feelings of freedom and an escape from reality.

I specialise in working with young people who are vulnerable too or experiencing Child Sexual Exploitation and work for a local, non-statutory exploitation project. I feel passionately about supporting children and young people to overcome adverse, childhood experiences and feel there is no way better way to do that then through working alongside the horses, outdoors in nature.

I’ve worked alongside statutory services supporting young people who have experienced trauma for the last 5 years in a range of roles. I have completed considerable training in Trauma Informed Care, Safeguarding Children and Young People, Working with Young People with Additional Needs and provide specialist support around Child Sexual Exploitation to both young victims and professionals.

I work in a trauma informed way and aim to provide a safe, stable environment for you to thrive. I would love to meet you and see how we can work together to create positive change in your life.
