FAQ's

Do I need to have experience with horses? 

No, you don’t need to have any horse experience. All your interactions with the horses will be on the ground and we have a variety of horses to work alongside. 

 

Are there age limits? 

7 years old tends to be the age limit but if you have a younger child that you feel will benefit we can discuss whether I can meet their needs. 

 

What should I wear? 

Wear weather appropriate clothing as we will be working outside. It is important to wear safe and sturdy footwear such as boots, wellies or sturdy enclosed shoes. 

In winter wear lots of layers and waterproofs in case of rain and in summer remember your suncream! 

 

Do we have sessions in the rain? 

Sessions take place all year round whatever the weather. We may cancel if under extreme weather conditions. 

 

How many sessions do I need? 

There is no minimum number of sessions however to achieve the best therapeutic results we would recommend a minimum of 3-6 sessions.

 

What is your cancellation policy? 

We understand that you may need to cancel or change your appointment. You will not be charged if you cancel within 48 hours of our appointment. You will be charged 50% if you cancel within 48 hours. You will be charged fully if you cancel within 24 hours. 

 

Do you have insurance? 

Yes I am fully insured as an Equine Assisted Coach with Public and Products Liability insurance.
